We were up bright and early the next morning and back in the viewing dome to catch our first glimpse of mountains,
Riding in the Viewing Dome
The treat on the train from Vancouver was sitting in the glass viewing car on the second floor. Working our way towards the Rockies, we followed the Fraser River upstream. Lots of gorges and tunnels.
Beautiful Day
This was a tad colder around the legs as we went up to the summit via ski lift.

Our little gondola provided great views of Vancouver as we went up the side of Grouse mountain.
A Gastown attraction
A quirky little tourist attraction that we found in the old quarter.

Those in the back streets were the biggest surprise and the most incongruous.
