We started to appreciate the size of the National Mall as we looked back along our path. The WW2 Memorial is in the foreground.

Looking East
From the steps of Lincoln Memorial, you look down the Reflecting Pool to the Washington Monument. The sun wasn't in a great position so early in the morning.


Annapolis Street
You can only photograph so many leafy streets and big houses! These are the old fisherman's cottages by the docks.

Our view of the shoreline of the Great Wicomico River is very typical. There is no creek that isn't inhabited.
