And when I said it was straight - I meant straight! Easy route to follow though. This section was lined with pine trees, but it could easily have been wetland.

An evening paddle along Hollywood Beach is the order of the day. Lots of restaurants and people to watch on the boardwalk closer to the city.

Racing over the huge expanses of sawgrass swamp in an airboat was fun. Sadly, no crocs.

Lots to see here and most of it too big to get into a single photograph! The Atlantis space shuttle was pretty cool.
