'Not so friendly' sky
We've had daytime weather nonsense today - to add to the night time shenanigans. We expected the worst, looking at this sky, only to experience torrential rain accompanied by hours of flat calm.
St Kitts - Basseterre

Montserrat - Plymouth
The capital, Plymouth, was buried in ash by the first eruption and we walked around looking in 3rd floor windows and admiring lava bombs.
Montserrat - still grumbling

Montserrat - breakfast view
We are anchored at the opposite end of the island to the volcano! This is one of only 2 anchorages left since the eruption.
Monserrat - the approach
Another day sail, this time from Guadaloupe to Montserrat. We must stand off 2 miles as the volcano is still active.
Martinique - Fort de France
Wow! What a change. Anchored opposite the capital city of Martinique so we visit via the high speed ferry.
