There are actually 4 of the little devils but they were hiding away and we can't actually swear to this being Jonathan!

Jonathan the Giant tortoise is a 'must - see' for visitors. He lives at Government House and has his own personal visitor's entrance!

Driving around the island, you get glimpses across the deep valleys through gaps in the trees. This is the secondary school in the woodland on the opposite hillside.

These 699 steps lead straight up from James Town to the cliff top and HalfTree Hollow. Back in the day, it was a rail track for hauling up carts by mule.

To the right of James Town (below the cliffs) are 3 rows of excellently installed mooring buoys for visitors. We are 4th from the right.

At the valley mouth, there is a quay and an anchorage in the little bay for local fishing boats.
