Japer isn't much more than the main street and the railway line! Looks good though in the evening light.
Looking up towards the icefield and the crevasses
Walking over its surface was quite surreal and there was a lot to explore: the different colours, the rapid flowing streams, the holes (!). There was 150m of ice under us.

Riding in the Viewing Dome
The treat on the train from Vancouver was sitting in the glass viewing car on the second floor. Working our way towards the Rockies, we followed the Fraser River upstream. Lots of gorges and tunnels.
Beautiful Day
This was a tad colder around the legs as we went up to the summit via ski lift.
